What Qualities Does a Hunter Horse Have?

A hunter horse should have connected, long, low, groun-covering , efficient strides. He/She should travel straight in front and behind. The front and rear of the horse should travel in a connected movement with constant balance and forward movement. The Hunter Horse should be stabilized yet energetic and alert. He/She should remain calm and cooperative in all situations. The Hunter Horse should be a mount that could participate in a fox hunt safely and in cooperative manner.
